Does anyone make replacement mufflers where you can replace the stock mufflers with out having to replace the whole system and keep dual exhaust. I dont really want one live can and one dead can. I think the dual exhaust is one of the things that sets this bike apart. I would like a little deeper, "throaty" sound with out getting extremely loud. I know this has probably been covered before but couldnt find in search.
I have a 2002 Canadian model VFR 800 6th generation and I put on a Scorpion exhaust slip on that keeps the duel exhaust. They sound really nice and look great too. There are other brands that utilize both cans instead of one. Some brands I can think of is FMF apex, remus, and GPR. Just do a search online and you will come up with loads of info.
