    Can anyone tell me what these cans are? there is almost no markings on them except for the clamps.

    They might indeed be home made, but they look an awful lot like old school, F1 slip ons.

    Okay any way to tell how to jet for em save the trial and error? Maybe a dalmicrometer measurement or something?

    Dyno with gas analyzer. Or just ride it and see. You may need to do nothing depending on what your current A/F mixture is. The mufflers may not effect your motor at all.

    Hey Stu

    I owned a 1984 VF1000F about ten years ago and it had some pipes that looked very similar to those. The previous owner told me that the exhaust on the bike was an F1 slip on. i have attached of the old bike. The picture is not the greatest as far as clarity goes but they sure look very similar to the ones you show on the box.
