WELCOME!!! Once that exchange rate gets closer to 1:1 you will see more of us from this side of the pond. On my last trip over it was nearly 2:1 GBP:USD and I sure was glad it was a business related trip. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay though.

    Welcome aboard, Phil.
There are a few members here from Scotland. Chewie is one that comes to mind.
Look him up and have a ride!

    Welcome!

I spent two weeks in Inverness about 5 years ago. It was a business trip but we had an entire weekend off to do a bit of exploring. It is a truly beautiful country and I would love to return some day.

I live in Bristol, but was brought up in Paisley, I came down here for better biking weather, and a job, but you are right about the roads, I quite often go up in the summer, because when you get passed Loch Lomond, the roads are brilliant, the best road I have ever driven is from Inverness to Ullapool, where you from Phil ?

Welcome Scottie. A trip to Scotland is in the cards in the not to distant future for my wife and I but unfortunately the bike will be grounded. I am very much looking forward to your beautiful countryside. And I suppose, I will have to endure the required visit to several producers or that swill called Scotch. I hate that stuff. Especially Highland Park 18. Terrible shit.
