A question for those over the pond on both sides. I've noticed while looking at other 5th gen photos, that maybe the 5th for you guys came with or was an option, a light to medium tinted screen? Can this be confirmed?

I bought my 5th gen (2000) from a private sale and it came with a tinted screen but he made no mention that he installed it leading me to believe it came stock.

I'm sorry it seems like he did order an aftermarket one since this is the same one that I have: zero_gravity_windscreen_ws_dblbbl_hon_vfr800_detail.jpg

Okay so out of personal interest I began googling and found parts suppliers. The format of this site is the same as "hondapartshouse" so I would think it is an affiliation. It does have links for different countries. I selected Germany, 1999, and the little pic by the windscreen is a tinted screen. That is all coincidental, they may have just used a generic picture. Or not!

    Then I noticed:

I looked up German & French Parts:
    64201-MBG-000

    US Part:

    64201-MBG-650

Hrm the stock part differs at least.

Excellent Knight, it looks for a fact that the 50th did come with a smoke tint to the screen, also when you google the part number in the images it shows a few that show what looks to be a tint as there is also a us spec photo there and you can clearly see the difference, is it just a weird photo? Or? Any members here have a 50th anniversary?
