I really like my Erion Full System, as you can probably tell by the way I plug it and brag about it every chance I get. The Erion has excellent build quality, and looks great. It does use springs, and I was told by a club racer friend that springs are always better than clamps and bolts. They allow the pipe to flex when needed and they are allot lighter. Not to mention that you save almost 20lbs with the Erion full system. I do not have any dyno printouts, but other listers have claimed as much as 15bhp gain with Erion full system, K&N, and airbox snorkel removed. Others have said it is more like 11-12bhp. On Erions Website if you go to the testimonials there is a letter from a guy who bought a Erion slip-on for a VFR800 and he had Dynos saying he got 10bhp from just a slip-on. http://www.erionracing.com/exhaust.htm I can tell you that it feels allot more powerful. It will wheelie in second gear with no clutch. It pulls very strong through the entire rev range and really pulls hard at about 9k-11k. It does not backfire or hesitate at all. Honda really did a nice job designing a EFI that can compensate for the power / airflow / exhaust flow gains. As far as the centerstand goes.. When I first installed it I put the little rubber do-hickey back on for the centerstand to rest on. The center stand did hang down at more of a angle than the stock setup. The only time I could get it to scrape was when hitting a large bump at full lean angle. It did not grab or do anything weird, but just the same I decided to change things. I took off the rubber stopper then I cut the rubber thing down so it is only about a 1/2" thick. Now my center stand is almost the same angle as stock. I have managed to get my peg feelers to scrape without touching down my center stand at all. I also get no vibration from the center stand.
Erion Full System Hi - did you purchase your header recently? I was under the impression that the header wasnt available anymore. Thanks!
