So met up with a couple friends after Thanksgiving and was told to bring a vehicle that can transport some parts, they have some things for me.

F2 wheels with brand new Michelin Power 5 tires, new bearings, valve stems.

Extra rotors, one Honda and one EBC. Virtually new, EBC has a little corrosion.

Bad news, some clown machined the front wheel completely wrong to go on a stock 86 front end. Don't know wtf they were thinking, but the two sides are machined down different amounts.

Judging by the spacer, they were offsetting the wheel to try to compensate for the speedo drive, that was also modified. Really no clue. JFC.

Somewhat interesting, custom rear caliper bracket that I have never seen before. I saw it when the wheels were installed and something seemed off as well.

I'll probably mock it up with a swingarm and wheel and see if it is usable.

1992 complete swingarm for a future project and a savable 4-2-1 just like the one on the RC26.

Repairable tail section and good taillight. Fine, that goes in the car too.

There some other doo-dads and parts for an 83 VF750F too.

Tire off with the replacement wheel. Wheel needs a bath, but with some touch up, it should be just fine for the application.

    NICE score, Capt!

I'll never figure out why people have to mess with the factory setup on these bikes - to the point they butcher stuff!

This is why you have to grab as many of these machines as possible BEFORE someone else gets their grubby little mitts on them! :)

Thanks, yeah it was a very generous gesture. Just the tires alone...

While I'm not the spokesperson for not messing with factory setups, I tend not to butcher things.

I was seriously excited to get a properly machined F2 wheel for a stock VFR front end though. I don't want to spend the money to have somebody I would trust to machine one. The destination project was likely getting CBR forks anyway.

Copy that. I was fortunate enough to score a nice condition SILVER pair off eBay a few months back.....and also was given a set in WHITE that came with the '86 RWB I got from S. Carolina last year.

    Sorry for the hijack......;)

I'd be interested in the 4-2-1 exhaust if you're willing to ship. If so tell me how much you want.

Not ready to let anything go at the moment. Gonna take some time and see how it cleans up. I do like that particular design, as it seems to work good.

    You have an 86/87 VFR?
