Well Santa came a little early. He got me a new toy. A 2002 Honda VFR800A. Yes I made the deal and I feel satisfied. It is in pretty good shape with 16,000 KM. It has a couple of scratches and a little dirty by my standards. I can’t wait to put my own elbow grease into it. The dealer will store it for me until spring. It has a couple of modifications to it. It has frame sliders, Givi touring windshield, and Heli handlebar risers. Honda also has to do the latest recall work (wiring harness). It is going to be a long winter.
Here are a couple of pictures (as if you guys do not know what a VFR looks like). Hey, this one is mine.

Congrats! She looks clean from this end. I'm sure the Dealer will be seeing you allot since you'll be coming by to visit her.

Congratulations!! Will the dealership let you set up an air mattress for weekend visits? I'd be chomping at the bit if I had to wait until spring to get that bike into my garage. Merry Christmas!!

I'd have to bring it home, or bust!! If you don't have a garage, put it in the living room. I had to keep my bikes in the LR when I had my apartment (about 100 years ago). I'd sit on them and watch tv in the winter.
