Looks like a good product also. The problem is just trying to find ANY type of chain wax. MC shops are few and far between and they only carry petroleum chain lubes. Regular bicycle shops might. Ace doesn't carry it either (by me). Not to worry now since I know Walmart by me has it and one Lowe's carries the 4oz bottles.

I've always just used 90w gear oil like the manual recommends. Are thin aftermarket chain lubricants sufficient? I guess I always assumed they were for bicycles.....

Great idea! I can blame my drops on me using that product for many years now.

Yeah, it's pretty tough to pick up and only spray the chain. But, your paint won't corrode and the tires are shiny!

Oh, be careful with Maxima, I've been using 'till switching to Dupont's. Maxima will leave a sticky film!

BTW anyone knows what's this thing that attaches to the end of the plastic tube that comes with the chain lube can called & where can you get one of that?

I've used that chain saver from DuPont before but it splatters all over the exhaust underside and that's after I let it sit overnight. I been using the honda chain wax, this stuff sticks to the chain pretty good with minimal fling.

I use a cardboard cut-out, placed between the chain & the wheel shielding both exhaust & wheel...It works.

I just use Liquid Wrench Dry lube, main ingredient is Polytetrafluoroethylene. Spray on, let dry, wipe any excess. ~$6 for the large can that I use in the garage & at the track. Not specified for chain use but has been working for me for some time now (and no waxy build up requiring lemon pledge to get rid of ) ...

So the Grease Ninja came in and I must say it really is a handy little tool, very quick and easy and less mess.

Not sure, but if that's how they are lubing their chain, not going to be doing much other than fling off the newly applied lube! I was thinking of making something like this myself. My business partner just bought a 3D printer and maybe this is something worth trying to produce. Not sure what the cost would be but worth looking into.
