There's a lot of parts involved in this. I think the hardest bit to fit would be the secondary master cylinder which sits on the left fork leg and requires a pivoting brake mount to activate it, sort of like the TRAC system on your VF500. Probably cheaper and easier to buy a bike with LBS as standard than to adapt it to an older model.
