Long time lurker..posting a problem.adjusted the chain...because it sounded like it was slapping/clunking...still slaps/chunks like every 2nd or 3rd rotation of the rear wheel.. when freewheeling on the centerstand...wheel moves freely without noise in neutral...no noise when riding..on in gear on centerstand...any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...tried to load video...no luck

Once the bike is up on the centerstand, rotate the rear wheel while pushing up on the chain. Finding a series of loose and tight spots means you need a new chain.

A good chain lasts about 20,000 miles, seldom more.

Do you mean the bike / chain jumps around like there is something loose in the transmission or something? As soon as you pull in the clutch everything smooths out? My bike has done this since I got it with 14,000 miles. Have 40,000 something miles and a few chains later and still does it. There has been a couple of post about this but no one response back with a fix.
