    cool bike. that lake remind me of big oak pond back home. it has trees all out in it like that. big ole carp in that thing and nice crappie in the barpits running around it.

    Did you say "crappie"? Your joking right Reg? That's my other favorite past time. Gimme a jig pole,some shiners, some tube jigs and I'm there.:thumb: Except we call 'em white perch here in CenLa.

    Bet they don't have any crappie out in Cali.:tongue:

    are you kidding me? there are crappie everywhere. those damn things'll take over a pond or lake given half a chance. keep the bass from growing cause they'll eat up the bait. back home in MO white perch is a river fish also known as a drum. they are fairly bony so most people don't eat them. I haven't been fishing freshwater out here, but a bud of mine said he has friends stationed just an hour south of me in cali that fish little ponds all the time and tear up panfish. I didn't ask about crappie, but he did mention nice sized bluegill and perch... I have thought many times if I could figure out how to carry my pole on my bike I'd combine a couple of my favorite things. Hell throw in a tent and a few supplies and I could make a weekend of it. ;)
