I've got a 2000 VFR800, that for the most part, is perfect. However, when I'm riding down the road, mostly at low speeds, I'll notice the rpms fluctuating ever so slightly, not enough to really read on the tach, but enough to feel and hear it.

I assume that it's dirty fuel injectors, but I'm not sure.

Someone recommended putting octane booster in my gas to help smooth it out. Is that the best thing to do, or can I clean it with something, like Chemtool, Marvel Mystery Oil, STP, or something?

I fixed it :D It turns out that it was a miserably worn chain. After I'd cleaned my bike a couple of weekends ago, I tightened the chain. When I finally did that, then I could hear some awful clicking, which made me investigate more closely. Riding up here in the rain of Seattle is death to chains.
