    Hey All,

So when I bought my 97, the digital clock just above the tach was inop (as in the L of the LCD had flooded half the display), but I just put it on the 'it would be nice' list. After seeing how much Honda wanted for a replacement (~$150), it slid even further down the list. Lo and behold, I found one on eBay and had it shipped here from the UK for $28!! Tore the whole dash apart to change it out yesterday...fired it up and it worked like a champ. I went out this afternoon, pulled the cover off the bike, and went to look at my super cool new clock. Much to my dismay, it had started to flood!!!! (see pics) Less than 24 hours later!! I live on the central coast of CA, so we're not dealing with super high temps here.

Has anybody else had this sort of issue?? Basically, should I write the clock off as one of Honda's engineering f-ups, or is it me??

If it gets no worse than it is right now, I can live with it, otherwise there's a nicely cut piece of electrical tape ready to go...
