My VFR 750 F RC36 is restricted on the speedo and i did not know that so i changed my speedo for aftermarket one,

Now my top speed is 115 km/h, is there any person that can help, on how to bypass or bridge out the CDI or how to

connect the m-max derestrictor to my CDI, the m-max has 3 blue and 3 green wires or if any one knows of a better an

safer way to bypass that would also help. Thanx

... What's your max RPM? You are stuck in 'limp-home' mode only running on 2 cylinders because the CDI is expecting to have a status signal, which is now missing

Do you still have the old speedo? There is a circuit board in the speedo that provides status and also causes the restriction, but you can detach the board from the back of the speedometer needle and leave it connected to the harness. This would provide the status signal but let it run unrestricted on speed.
