Decals on the 2000 are the remnants of the tapeworks kit that we removed when he bought it

I'm jealous:yousuck:! I have wanted to do that ride for about 2 years now. Have fun out there, & try to be careful. We wouldn't want any VFR parts going onto that Tree(I do believe its called "the tree of shame").:frown: Take a bunch of pics and some footage if you can!

    my .02

Where will you be staying, on my trip there I stayed in Andrew's Valley a twenty minute ride from the Dragon.

Don't forget the Cherola Skyway... a longer ride but not nearly so tight but the elevation changes are awsome as are the views!

    Ride safe.

I'm curious how you have the bikes tied down. Is it just a strap around the bottom triple?

I would have told you to not go on a weekend but I see you left this morning. You'll find out why you don't go on weekends when you get there.

I just got back a week ago. Very cool this was the first time riding it. Weather was great and not too crowded. Rode from Illinois. Any local roads near there are 100 times cooler than Illinois.

Did you have a chance to ride the 5th Gen & 6th Gen back to back? If so, any comparison of the two you would like to offer?

I'll be heading to the Gap sometime in August. taking off from Ohio to ride the Gap, Blueridge Parkway and every twisty road we can fit in between, average about 1500 miles per trip...Great Ride, highly recommended for all!
