I'm sorry if this is not where this should be posted.

I came across this bike at a dealer about 15 miles from me. In New Jersey.

Looks to be in pretty good shape, and while I'm not a history buff on the Interceptor, I suspect that its getting difficult to locate first generations?

In the event that somebody is searching for a first generation, here's a link to the dealer that is selling it.

    The Cycle Exchange... Used Cycles

I can't vouch for the dealer; my first time there was this weekend to just pick up oil and a filter. But if anyone would like me to try and get more info, or to go up there and go over the bike with a fine tooth comb, I'll do my best.

The bike is a great find & looks to be in fantastic shape.

The dealer's prices on the other hand, SUCK.

    KC-10 FE out...

THERE are newer VFRs that are better bikes with fewer aggravations.

Yeah I saw that bike on the web and thought the price sucks (as much as I love the VFR and respect vintage bikes) even though it looks like it is in Excellent shape. Looks to be priced to sell to a collector like a Jay leno or somebody. Really does look nice!!!!!! For a newer model that is priced a little better (for a stealer oops I mean dealer lol) check this:

1995 HONDA VFR750FL for sale in Port Washington, NY: Sport Touring - CycleTrader.com

    or an older VTR250

1989 HONDA VTR250 for sale in Port Washington, NY: Sportbike - CycleTrader.com

I know of a few others that are reasonably priced - 4th and 5th gens. I may love my Yamaha YZF600R (got it for trackdays), but my 5th Gen VFR is still the BEST!!!!!

It doesn't give the mileage or the displacement. It's either a 700 or 750. Also, it doesn't have the stock exhaust. A collector would be looking for a low mileage, stock bike for that amount of money.
