dead links???

    Trying to follow through on the info. contained in the "Wheel conversions for 1986-19876"
    and all the links fail to work.

    Can someone provide some insight??

    That site bit the dust a while back.

    You may however be able to track down snapshots of what you are looking for using the wayback machine archives. It will probably take some investigation but their botnets routinely crawl most active sites.

    Looking for gearing suggestions to approximate stock after the switch to a 120/70/17 front and a 160/60/17 rear.

    Stock front / 44 rear feels good on my bike. Maybe a tad lower gearing, but very reasonable for medium distances and the acceleration feels nice.
