I get their thinking with Daryl and the idea of a "fankenstien" bike since it fits his character. But if you were in that situation, wouldn't you just find a late model ADV bike? Seems like a better choice than a chopper, harley, or custom thing....

Still a huge fan of the show, though!

 

I was wondering who Daryl is ..........I guess I need to watch more TV. Not getting much these days on the bunny ears.

So now that I understand the reference, how does someone living in this messed up zombie reality, find the time space and resources to build a custom ride like this?

 

You'd have to see more of the show to understand how he had the time to build it. In short: Him and his fellow travelers found a "safe place" to be, including a development run entirely by solar power, so they have water, electricity, etc. Also walled off from the Zombies. Bike was in a garage, on a lift, and the resident in the house has been on scouting missions collecting random parts hoping it would work.

 

I guess I better check my Netflix to see if it is available and then plan a weekend of binge watching. Not much better to do here since we got another couple of feet of snow last weekend. I've never seen so much snow in my entire life!

 

Weekend! You'll need more than that my friend am afraid. Great show, totally addictive and gets better and better.

I thought that! I said..."When the hell did he take pics of my bike?!" Last time you were here was when you picked up the 8 spoke and I didn't recall any pics being taken.

His character on the show has such a huge following. There are people, most likely without a real life, that created t-sirts and other products in support of the character! Most likely it's just for the cash though.

I think she's just getting tired of my GQ looks, offshore bank accounts and 10 inch pecker, so she has this fascination on how the other 99% of people survive.
