I know some of you guys are running 5g mirrors on your bikes but when I looked them up on Ron Ayer's fiche, they looked to have the stalk covers, same as my 4g. My question: do you use the 5g mirrors and remove the covers or is there another mirror, not shown in the fiche? If the latter, what's the part number?
I think in 2000 they went to the condom less mirrors on the 5g so a lot of people just pick up a set of those. I was thinking about it myself as the condoms on mine are looking rough. my cleaners seems to eat the rubber on there but nowhere else...
Yeah, as reg stated..... It's not a "generation thing". i have the Targa brand AERO mirrors .....they are smaller mirrors so the view size is smaller but they look sick on my 98
