collector pipe mod

    Would it be at all possible or practical to mod the 5th gen collector box to have a left side exit vs right side? A high mount left exit exhaust would look better on the 5th gen imo, or even a dual exit collector for dual high mounts?

    possible - sure
    practical - hrm, depends on your definition
    cool - done right, I would say it has huge cool potential

    Done right it will probably require a powercommander and dyno run to retune the engine for the exhaust. I'm not convinced that mine is exactly right over 7.5k RPM after switching to a 6gen exhaust. Will get it custom tuned this winter and know for sure.

    I have thought about doing a custom exhaust where the front two pipes come together and exit through one muffler, and then having the two rear cylinders coming together and exiting through another muffler. Something like the race systems for the rc45...
