I had been having issues with my clutch for a long time. it was fine below 3,000 rpms, but would turn into an on off switch above that. today i put in barnett springs and sanded down all the rough edges on the teeth of the steels and friction plates. it took all day, but seems to have solved the problem. i can now rev the bike to 5 or 6 grand and slowly feed out the clutch and take off smoothly, with no abrupt engagement. well worth the effort and i wish i would have done it sooner.
