Got my remote rear reservoir hose replaced today, and took a rip down a lovely road near the house. Guy pulls into a driveway in front of me and stops. I think he is either turning around or getting his mail. He backed out in front of me and I laid on the brakes, back wheel locked, front dove. I think I heard squealing tires over my music. He pulled back into the driveway at the last minute. I pulled to the shoulder and could have touched his vehicle, I knew there was as car behind me but didn't know how far behind. It was after a curve, I wasn't even mad. He simply didn't see me. You all be careful out there. Head on a swivel and do your best to anticipate shenanigan's.
Yesterday some idiot was making a 3 point turn on a short straight up in the mountains in front of me. No problem getting stopped, but pick a safer place next time will ya!? Another time came around a left hander in the mountains to find a bunch of cops jogging in the road, on the other side, but one of their cars was on the wrong side completely in my lane. I had to pull off onto the shoulder, good thing I was not going faster. Serve and protect, yeah right. Idiots. Ride safe out there.
