This sort of question comes up from time to time. Have a look at the final pictures in this thread...

    http://vfrworld.com/forums/5th-generation-1998-2001/33205-so-i-finally-have-vfr-but-2.html

If it looks like the sort of fairing kit which you are after, then I suggest you contact wildwhl either by posting on that thread or via PM. Hopefully he can tell you precisely where he sourced his Chinese fairings, what they cost and what if any issues he encountered when he fitted them.. In the same thread there was at least one other person who said they had Chinese fairings on route which got me wondering if it would be really worth gathering everything relevant together in one thread. Ideally inviting everyone who has bought Chinese or other fairing kits to post up a basic evaluation -

Overall assessment (Brilliant, OK, rough, don't touch) what they purchased (model/year/colour), who they purchased them from (eBay trader name etc), cost including delivery, Issues encountered when fitting, other comments/advice...

Hopefully if everyone who has purchased Chinese or other fairing kits is willing to share their experiences, it will allow others to avoid the really bad ones and possibly choose the right ones...

Meantime good luck - let us know how you get on.

I think it is hit or miss. But with little to no modification, you can fit them..

I've read on another forum that Bliss Star is a good eBay seller. Decent product for the money but a run here or there in the clear coat or a run in the color coat in a seam. Also- striping tape might overlap a bit (but its clear coated over). His fairings are about 625 shipped from HK.

my bliss star kit was kinda rubbish. the logos were all wrong on the tank, nasty clear coat runs on the front fairing, the turn signals NEVER mounted because the mounts were completely useless. I could go on.

I've a new kit coming. we'll see. it's been injection moulded, so no more plastic welded mounting tabs (i hope)
