Thanks much for sending that link... Ride accasionaly with a guy from work who is a young Squid, will pay 100 bucks for bling bits like LED blinkers for his 600rr but wont buy or wear decent Jacket pants or boots when riding...he does wear a good Helmet and $250 gloves so his head and hands are safe... I have suggested to him it will take only one slide to realise how "Cool" not wearing bike gear is when his skin, burns and rips away in just one minor slide, having a very attractive girl practically illustrate the results will definatly get his attention...
I winced just reading it. Every day i see squids on all types of bikes, and you know the stats show that most accidents happen on short trips that are close to home. It's these trips that most folks don't wear gear.
