I've seen similar "made for motorcycle" panel meters go for around 60$. I ordered this delivered to me for around ~12$ on Virtual Village - US | Accessories for Everything | Quality Products at Low Prices. Works excellent so far, long term durability is still questionable. The package came from hongkong and took a couple weeks, but no complaints ordering from virtual village. I'm running two switches with it. One to power the unit (i'm using a 9v battery since the units power range is 6-15v.. probe wires read 0-99 v) and one to complete the circuit to the battery so I can test the meter. They also sell gear indicator displays for 2.99.. yes 3 dollars . Looks like they are the same 5 wire design as the accumen ones and i'm sure you could follow the wiring diagram on accumens website. Might give one a try because they are so cheap
Well I hope it holds up for you. I put in the Datel Meter as there are only 2 wires and waterproof housing.
I use the Cobra Radar detectors with compass and volt moniter built in, not as cheap as buying a voltmeter but if your buying a detector it's a good option.
