I noticed some advertisements for ceramic brake pads for motorcycles. Several of my friends have them on their vehicles and have nothing but good things to say. Any one using them on their VFR ? If so would like to hear from you. Some of the ads sound like the pads would be real helpful on track days. Thanks, CIRV
Just have to decide if you want to be able to stop when they're cold and wet. Not so good for normal riding.
I have some on my truck and it stops a lot better now. Of course they get a lot hotter than normal pads so they can make more noise than normal.
I ran ceramic on my last two vehicles and I have nothing but praise for them. I had less brake dust (only dust was a light brown now), less fade, and they lasted longer. They cost more than organic/semi-metallic, but are worth it to me. I don't remember seeing anybody ever talking about them on a bike though....would be interesting. I have the EBC HH for now.
