Installed this 2 days ago at my local bike shop.Like other people commented, it feels ridiculously light to lift the bike up on the center stand. It is just using the leverage in efficient way to do this, but compared to 919 center stand, this stand is night and day difference.
The thing little concern me is that as easy as it is to bring it up, it is sooo easy to set it down from center stand. It feels like it will go off with just a gentle nudge. I am afraid if car or somebody accidentally bump into my car, it will set the center stand to come off…. I hope I am just being paranoid here. Does anyone feel the same way with this center stand??

With the center stand, if the ground isn't level, then obviously point the front of the bike uphill so that the weight of the bike is biased to the rear making it harder to push it off the stand. I know what you're saying, but I think it is harder to get the bike off the stand than you think. Also, the side stand has issues of its own.

I have the same issue with my 6th gen, I raised the bike up quite a bit with suspension mods and it just rolls on and off with almost no effort. Would not park it in a public area or around my unruly pup's on the center stand because of this.

My Gen 6 doesn't want to roll off the centre stand too easily. I don't worry about that happening.

I have the centerstand as well. My 5th and 6th gen's took a little effort to get up on the stand and an equal amount of effort to take it off the stand. My 7th gen just rolls right up with very little effort. However, it comes off the stand with a fair amount more effort. It's not like my 6th gen, but it's not nearly as easy as putting it up. Personally, I appreciate the lower effort the bike feels stable up there. If it got bumped from behind by a several thousand pound vehicle (or my mother-in-law), it wouldn't matter if it were on the side or center stand, she's gonna fall. Love the center stand. It should have been standard equipment (just like traction control, cruise control, saddle bags, etc.). Ride safe.

My 5th gen. feels solid on the center stand. Often takes more than just one bump to get it off the stand. Totally comfortable using it.

i have the center stand on my 2010 vfr and really find it to be very secure, both for parking and servicing...and it is easy to raise !! if you feel uncomfortable with it, simply chock the front wheel when on stand
