in a word.......yes. but u need to remove (loosen) the sub-subframe and lift it it slightly for clearance to get cdi forward AND OUT and also a screw on a small cover. why r u needing to fuss with it ?
No spark and just to know thanks for all input .I just found out that the kill switch might have little to do with it.the bike sat in rain for years jjust trade ninja600 for vfr 700 want to see if it runs
I learn just that thanx for the info I found out that the on off switch can loose contact .that my next move .
with a multimeter you can check the switch continuity at the plug connection. another test would be to check for battery voltage at the blue/white wire in the 6-pin cdi plug. also test that the green wire there is connected to ground. if stop/run switch is bad, no voltage to cdi.
Thank you I'm liking the information I get here at VW I will do just that next I think we might fig it out Thanx for your help I figured it out ☺️
Fur sure and the whole circuit really.Big help on another note, who makes fairings for 87 vfr 750/70?
nobody. you're up shit's creek on that one. bike looks muscular and strong without fairings, but they show up on ebay about twice a year.
