Hi, I have a late 2003 VTEC ABS that started giving off a wierd rattling noise at low revs, turned out to be a cover plate on the catalytic converter which doesn't seem to be attached in any way and just floats freeely. I'm not sure how this plate is meant to be attached nor why it has suddenly started to rattle. Any advice appreciated...
my bike is an 02 makes same noise I hope its the cover plate for the converter. If it is a little tack welding will take care of the problem. No one will ever see the welds.
