    Hello one and all.

Im in the process of negotiating a deal on a slightly abused 87 vfr700. I love the looks of the bike and everythin Ive read suggests its a great choice for me. I do have some questions. First what is the difference between the 700f and th 700f2 models. The guy told me it was an f1 but upon some research I think its an f2. Its white w/ gold pinstriping and has square guages. Also, how bullet proof are these engines, its pretty high milage 48k so that is a bit worrieome but the price is right. Any info would be great

    Pax.

yeah the white with square gauges is the f2...same one i have. yeah engines are pretty good from what i can see with proper maintenence of course. outside of rectifier possibly going bad, which is a known issue...the bike is pretty solid....check out the forum, there is tons of info on various mods and conversions if interested. can't wait until i can get back on mines, as soon as i can get it down off these jackstands...

    Quanto es ??

If you can hear it run smoothly, it's a good bike regardless of miles.
