Hey all, sounds silly but need to replace a signal bulb on my VFR. Weird as it is, the 2004 owner's manual does not list a bulb size, just the spec. Weirder still is that the spec is different in the online fiche at RonAyers.com. Anyone know?

On Ron Ayers, the front and back signals and the rear brake lights are all
    12V21/5W.
In my manual it has that just for the brake/tail light, but the 12V21W for the front and back signal lights.

    Further, I beleive that
    12V-21W = bulb #7440
    & 12V - 21/5W = #7443

    anyone with some insight?

OK, how does one get that bulb out? Seems like the oil cooler is specifically placed to make it impossible to get my hand in there. Anyone have a trick? Seems like it would have been better design to mount it to the removable panel you take off...

OK, couldn't get the bulb out from the inner side. I could get my hand on it, but the angle was so poor, that I couldn't exert any force to turn the socket. Rather than mess with the oil cooler, I just removed the side panel, was then able to easily reach in and get to the bulb. Seems like overkill for a friggin' blinker bulb swap.
And at least on the '04, the front blinker bulb, I have figured out is a 7443 bulb.
