Talked to a guy at length today about a BOS GP-1. The looks are great IMHO and he's offering what I think is a great price @ $625 shipped. Does anyone have this and want to offer their opinion? Thanks.

I haven't heard of that one. If you get pic and sound clip, you should post it to the thread about exhaust clips...

It looks pretty good. I haven't heard of anyone using them on here. Everyone who gets staintune seems to love them. I'm not sure how they compare in cost. I'm thinking they are pretty high. I have the same aftermarket pipe that was on my bike when I got it and my bike is a 98 so that doesn't help you much...

THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT A SOUND CLIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm sorry I couldn't help myself, and it's all in fun, I'm not tryin to upset anyone. Hell I think it would be awesome to have a set of pipes that followed the stock pipes lines but until I hear them I won't be considering them.

Finally a company making a muffler for this bike that fits the lines of the bike. Nice looking except for the nipple tips. BARF.

    "Nipple tips"
Heh...makes me think of a line from "Life of Brian".
"Wolf nipple chips! Get 'em while they're hot! They're lovely!"

But seriously folks, I'd be very interested in hearing from anyone who has these as well?
Maybe some of our friends across the pond can comment?

Just rolled the dice and ordered it. Should be here early next week. They have a $$ back guarantee if I dont like it. I looked at everything out there and found they extend beyond the tail too much or had big gaps between the cans & the tail section leaving an unclean look IMHO. Though I couldnt find a pic of the mid lengthed Scorpion (350 mm). I'm sure the 240 mm would look alot like the short 2 Bros. that I dont like. I'm going to install it as soon as it arrives and will post my thoughts and try to post a sound clip as well.

The exhaust was delivered yesterday and I spent the evening installing it and getting rid of the rear fender/mudflap. It was a pretty simple install. It is somewhat louder and deeper but far from obnoxious. I'm sure it'll become a little louder once I put a 1000 miles or so on it. The quality is as advertised which is top notch. I've had 3 Yosh units on my Gixxer 1000 and the BOS is definately a notch or two better from a quality standpoint. I would highly recommend this exhaust based on my initial impression. I'll post pics this weekend.

The BOS logo is just a decal and can be peeled right off fo a stealthy look.
