    I've read that blue is a poor color for night vision.

    Correct, certain colors are more distracting at night. Red affects night vision the least. A friend of mine has a CBR redone in blue and its not that bad IMO.

    You can send your gauge cluster here to have any color you want put in. Quality service & very quick turnaround. I like the pure white.
