I haven't seen a rear rack that hasn't messed up "her beautiful behind". I've ordered the hard bags, but for camping I'll need a third bag. What's your answer?
When i went with oem bags, the first thing my kid said to me is you wrecked the bike looks like an old mans bike now I have to say i just dont like the look of any rack on the back takes the sport look right out of the bike but hey whats more important with the side bags i use the bike a lot more if i was going for long trips i would install a rack anyways
Well not sure if you're really wanting hard bags, Cortech makes a 3 piece system that works pretty darn good but it's soft. Works for me. http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/product.php?productid=149&cat=31
Have to agree with RVFR 100% on the Tourmaster Cortech bags. The only improvement I would recommend to Tourmaster is on the seat bag. It has two D-rings on top to attach a shoulder strap. If they would add two more to the other corners then we would have a good place to attach bungee cords around a rolled up jacket, etc. Otherwise, I think they have a very nice design. If you can find an older set you will get the larger, more robust zippers. Be mindful about how much clearance you have with exhaust pipes.
