The battery on my 91 vfr is discharging while I'm riding, going dead after 30 minutes or so. Battery seems to hold a charge when trickle charged and the reg/rec has only about 2000 mi on it. the bike has 33K. Anyone have ideas? Seems like it might be the stator but I've never had a stator go bad.
don't forget the three prong - stator to harness plug. Located on the right side under the middle fairing.
