I just got a stock '02 and it's pretty sweet. Gotta do something about that exhaust though. I had an '85, an '84 and an '86 (in that order). Then I went the CBR route for a while (a 1000, 1100, & 600). The 600 was for the street and the track. Now I got an '03 CBR 954 for the track and wanted a good street bike. Hence the VFR. I'm looking forward to learning a lot on the site. Thanks in advance!

Your past sounds much like my own. My first bike was a 1986 VF500F. I then moved into the CBR line up for a number of years before coming to the realization that the Interceptor (for me) was a much better bike. At least you've now got the best of both worlds. Congratulations on your new acquisition.

    Congrats on getting a VFR.

NJ sucks bad enough, I couldn't imagine living that close to NYC. What are the property taxes running up there these days?

    KC-10 FE out...

I pay about 10K and that's less than a lot of people I know. The good part is the twisties are only a few minutes away.
