Anyone Interested?

I am thinking of selling my VF1000R engine it is complete and running and has about 21,000 miles. I want to see if anyone is interested.
It is in perfect shape and the cams are perfect.
It has new clutch plates and a new clutch spring.
Comes with a clutch tool also that I built.
It has the gear driven cams and it has the line bored cams with factory oiling holes in the cam faces. Late 1985.

The cylinder head covers and engine side cases have been completely polished@$550.00 cost..
It would come with two sets of working carbs and a custom digital temp guage.
I would like $1700. for it.
I want to build another project so I need to sell this engine and other stuff to start my new project.
I am 61 years old and have taken very good care of this engine.
It also comes with two Honda workshop manuals.

This engine needs to be in a sportbike.
I also put this question to see if there is interest in the Mechanics thread on this forum. It is not for sale on Ebay.

I would like to see that it gets a good home.

 

I need a new project.
I can sell the engine and parts, or I can sell the bike as a complete bike, but
I would like to see this engine go to a VF1000R owner that just needs a new engine or a VF1000R owner that wants the best version of the engine.

It makes the most sense to me.

I am getting too old to ride anyway. Where i live it is raining or wet and damp most of the year anyway. I like to be inside where it is warm and I can be building something.
