    Hello to all,

I recently had a flat battery and decided I would like to connect a voltmeter
and ammeter to the bike so I could see tell-tale signs of electrical problems.
Im sure the voltmeter will be fine but can an ammeter be connected to a
    motorbike? Bike is '88 VFR750.

    David.

    Alternator?

    Hi,

Isnt there an issue with the bike having a stator/reg/rec setup rather than
an alternator as on a car? Ill keep trying to make it work, but a bit of extra
    info always helps!

    Ammeter working!!!

    Hi,

After visiting 'The Motorcycle Project' website by Wrenchbender I was able
to rearrange the wires to make the ammeter work perfectly. I will post a
small video or photos in the 'Modifications' forum soon. Let me know if you
need help for a similar project.

    David.
