Can anyone comment on this link and the roads on it?
    Allegheny National Forest, Pennsylvania

    Are the descriptions/colour codes accurate.
    Green scenic
    Blue Twisty
    Red technical

Thinking of a day trip down there and I'd hate to discover the info is out of date or completely wrong. It's depressing what we have for local twisties, I can go north for a northern ride, or south. From what I've read on the net, south is the better bet

    Thanks
    Kyle

Most sections of US Rte. 6 are good, and Rte. 15 is a very nice twisty road in sections.

I grew up their and the roads are fun. Some may be in bad shape though.

I'll second all of that and a few more just off of those routes! Wycofff......mmmmmmmmm.......tasty.

Most is in good shape down there. Recent storms may have sent some wash / gravel into the pavement here and there, but most recent reports (last weekend from others, 3 weekends ago myself) are good, real good.

Some yes, some no? Rt44 is not what I would consider really red as much as blue. I'd say Wycoff is a red. It doesn't show the south end of 144 out of Renovo, that part's a red. Rt120 I'd say was more green than blue but still blueish? Its too subjective. Go on recommendations more than this website.
