New here, 01 vfr, any thoughts about markings on air horns not matching factory shop manual, page5-65?

I faced that same puzzle reassembling my bike a few months back. All four funnels are identical, so it does not matter which way around they are installed.

I do respect a man that pick's up on the fine points of a job and has a sense of panic. Most do not.

Interesting I'm not the only one that thought Hmm.., in the process of installing the PC3 I needed to get the air box outa the way, hence therefore those stacks needed to come off, I didn't think about if they needed to go back a certain way as they're all the same, all though I did put the markings heading the same way ;)

I had mine apart recently replacing thermostat hoses and was scratching my head when I got to the airbox. I finally realized there was no way to align the funnels the way the manual states. Thanks for putting me at ease haha. Only a honda would have little marks to align identical pieces of plastic haha, working on the VFR is a hoot. Honda knows how to make an easy bike to work on :)

Thy are the same part no. Think you just need to align one mark each but i don't understand why slot on bottom does not line up with anything.
