    Hello,

Just bought a 94 VFR, and wanted to put a left side-high mount, center up, or right side high mount exhaust on it to expose that gorgeous wheel. TBR used to make them but apparently no more. Anyone know of other manufacturers of those type of exhausts? I really don't care too much about performance increase, all I want is lighter weight, a better look and especially to emphasize that gorgeous music, hopefully without too much additional work (rejetting, etc.). Any help would be appreciated.

Go and get the micron pch 60, or maybe its called p 60. Its a nice right side high mount, and gives the V4 a nice throaty sound(can't hear that engine noise any more). Just got mine and i love it, just make sure you also jet the carbs for that extra performance. they have a carbon fiber for 60 dollars more.

by the way jetting is not required, but if you are gong from stock to aftermarket, i recommend it. you are allowing more air flow and its nice knowing everything is in tune.

Thanks for the info. I knew someone had to still make them, even though it's ten years old.

I like the Staintune High Mount with the spud in. It looks nice, no jetting required, although it woudl be nice. Sounds great.
    Good luck,

imade a high mount for my 92vfr bymocking up afitted pipe out of automotive pipe by welding pieces together. When I had a perfect fit i went to an exhaust shop and had them match the pipe with stainless pipe.
The total cost was $90. It looks amazing.
I used a D&D carbon fibre can and reduced the length of the can by 4.5" so it fit very nice.

I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust (preferably a slip-on) for a 1990 VFR750F. If anyone has any brand loyalty or personal preference for looks or sound, i want to hear them. Thanks for everything.

I have the left-exit high-mount TBR exhaust and it is definately very nice and I would find and buy another in the future if I ever needed.

I have obtained the header off a 94 to instal on my 92 VFR
I am getting ready to instal the headers on the bike so I can get a newer Two brothers pipes or whatever I may fancy.
How much trouble is this going to be?
It seems from what I have read, the shock may have to come out.
Do I need any Special Tools?
It looks like it may be an 8 hour job. Is that about right?

If you have small enough hands and plenty of extensions the headers can go in without removing the shock (if you have headers like the two brothers where you can split them into the front and back sections)

8 Hours is quite a long time, I'd say maybe 3 at the most. It's not a bad job at all.

New 95 VFR owner with Hi-Mount slip-on question

Go and get the micron pch 60, or maybe its called p 60. Its a nice right side high mount, and gives the V4 a nice throaty sound(can't hear that engine noise any more). I just installed the slip-on [Micron Hi-Mount]. The sounds is sweet and it looks fantastic. My only concern is that there's only 1/2-3/4 inch clearance between the tire and the exhaust. Is this correct and safe to ride? Does anyone have similar experience? Thanks!

Is the difference at the connection and not the chassis mounting points? If I buy a 94-97 system, I have fab skills and equipment so I should be able to make it work. Correct?

I just put 94-97 pipes on my 92 with a two bros M 5 They don't make many options anymore. The C 3,4 or 5 are no longer available. Much faster revving and the power comes on nice above 8000 Rpm. I removed the EVAP cannister at the same time and plugged the lines. BAD idea! The bike was way to rich or flooding out and was hard to start. After unlpugging the lines it seems to be better. Any ideas? Did I mention the SOUND! While ridding up a canyon next to a rock wall it sounds magnificent.
    Good investment

Hey Sierra, hope I can catch you here. I just brought home a 93 and have read all sorts of stuff about 94-97 full systems fitting the 93 needing only the sacrifice of the center stand. Did your system bolt on just fine? Seems to be the only option - and it won't be around long ; )

My 92 had no center stand to sacrifice. The 94 header bolted up without removing the short pipes that mount to the block exhaust ports. It was easier than I expected. I did need a long extension to reach the rear coupler. Take the rear tire off. I use a Pit Bull stand as a center stand when I need to work on the bike. The Two Bros muffler mounted up nicely. No jetting required. I am way too busy to consider it. I guess I am getting about 5 more HP and the mid range is snappier.
