So it comes to me I have an option here from Jamie. If I would like the adjustable fork caps. I take it these are the ones that come from the Super hawk that adjust the rebound? To help me decide I'm asking those that have added that feature, was it worth it?

I did this option but to be honest, I haven't really played with the settings, set it once and done. My Penske rear shock has both rebound and compression adjusters, but once I dialed it in it has been set it and forget it too. That being said, it is a little ironic as I had the ability to set it first, but then didn't need to touch it afterward. I think it's one of those things...better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.

After the break down to what else is going on, it's looks to be another $205.00 for them. I'm kinda Like OOTV where it is better to have em, than wish you had them. Maybe. Reason for all this re hashing is, I had the F3 forks adjustabilty, and a very adjustable WP rear shock on the 4th gen, thing is like OOTV once set, I never messed with it. but it's just that, you can if. I guess if I knew from the start how the front would behave would help answer the question, but they're in Ohio, so no help there ;)

I put VTR1000 adjusters into my VFR, more on a "because I can" basis than "because I need to". If you're going down the path of suspension upgrades then you are looking for an optimum set-up (and knowing that stock is far from optimum) and unless you try some variations, you won't know how close to optimum you are. Like you I have set the adjusters to my liking and more or less left them there, but I believe that my setting is actually a bit lighter than you would get with a non-adjustable damper, as it tracks bumpy roads better and with less kickback. If you can afford them, I would have the adjusters installed.

Yep had a heart to heart talk with Jamie this morning and decided to pull the trigger, as it's better to have, than wish.. and they are apart and ready, so not a whole lot of trouble on the install, plus a pro is doing it. Jamie assured me they are way more sensitive and with a larger range of adjustment over the stock ones, so in that I decided to give it a go, even though the black anodized caps, with red adjustment screw has me going.....:juggle:
