Hey guys. I’ve been struggling a little bit with accelerating.

only thing I can compare it to is a vtec engine. It starts off kinda slow and chuggy and then all of a sudden it’s ready to go.

carbs had a fresh rebuild around 300 miles ago and I’ve been having the issue for around the past 100.
Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

time to test compression and inspect sparkplugs. are you certain float height settings are all correct ? what #s were you using ?

could be a failing slide diaphragm or one that's sticking. run it with airbox cover removed to see that all the slides rise evenly with throttle.

I think squirrelman is on it with the questions aboot the airbox and slides. From here it would be the very first place I would look.
