    Hi all.
I never have anything to contribute to this forum, but I lurk once in a while. I need your help with the ABS light flashing on my bike.
I've asked the same question on a couple of other forums, and even though I had good responses, and followed their advice, I'm still unable to make the problem go away.
    Here is what I typed:
My ABS light flashes intermittently. On my home from work last Sunday the light flashed after 16 miles.
On Monday morning I went to get new brake pads, 16 miles each way, on the way to the dealer light flashed for the last two miles only, didn't flash on the way back.
Same day I traveled 20 miles to my friend's house to change the pads, no light flashing for the first 15 or so miles. After changing the pads and cleaning rotors no light flashing on the 20 miles back home.
    Didn't ride it Tuesday.
Yesterday when going to work light didn't flash for about 15 miles, did for the last 2 or so. Last night didn't flash at all on my way back home.

04 VFR 800F, 22K miles. No power commander ar after market fuel management system, pretty much a stock bike. 20K service already performed including new clutch and brake fluids, oil and air filter.
I checked for loose connections, hoses, obstructions in the sensors, rotors, bolts, and leaks.

Any ideas this mechanically challenged owner should look into?
Thank you all in advance. If you ever find yourself in Orange County, I'll buy the beer.
    Jerry

If you have the owners manual, take a look in there. Most owners manual will have a trouble shooting guide for when an indicator light goes on.
