96 vfr 750 question

    i was hoping to see if someone could help me. i need the tail piece that holds the rear tail light up next to the blinkers, my bolt is missing and it seems like it cracked off so i need a whole new piece

    [​IMG]its actually the piece where the bolt holds the reflector portion to the rear side fairing. they are both broken so i guess i have to replace both?

    i was also wondering if i could get a tail in one piece??? can tails be interchanged without much modification? sorry about all the questions i'm new

    Thurn Motorsports makes onepiece tails for $$$. you might try to use some plastic weld on the tabs and cracks. Its worked for me in the past to glue stuff back together. Its a 2 part epoxy.

    since the piece i will be wielding is connecting two fairingsis there a certain patch i should use and i need a fix that will pass inspection

    Inspection? I would try to repair separately if possible. Can you take a good picture of what you are up against and we will have a better time trying to help. Brian

    yea i have temp tags on it and it won't pass inspection without the back being fixed. i think i have a plan and i'm going to document it as best i can so if someone else has this issue i can help. thanks for the suggestions.:thumbsup:
