I have an engine from a 97 vfr 750 on it's way. I was just wondering if the engine will mount up the same as the 90 VFR. I read the engine specs on both 3rd and 4th generation Viffers and they are the same. So now I have to figure out if the mounts will measure up the same?
Well as I look through my factory 90-97 VFR service manual it says nothing in the way that engine won't fit, in some areas in the manual it does mention years applicable to certain things that where designated for that particular model year. so in this case it's looking like it will fit, looks pretty straight forward, maybe you should pick up a manual.
