So, I recently installed Pirelli Angel STs ont he 2007. Love em so far. On my way out I asked about tires for the 87. He said "wait a sec!" Turns out he has a 1986 VFR700 sitting under his garage. He says it was totaled out, all plastic unusable, but that the engine and other components might be useful to me. Said he bought it for real cheap! (wont say how cheap!) I'm probably going to end up giving him some cash for this thing. My 87 could use some parts. Here's a list of what I want to perhaps inspect/install if the parts are compatible and decent. Please give your input on anything I haven't thought of in my weekend drunken state 1) kickstand (yeah, I need a new one) 2) Right sight exhaust mount (bike went down, mount on right side bent) 3) Cowl covers (the plastic lining between the cowls and the engine) 4) Brake rotors!!!! Front and rear! 5) Handle bars (I damaged mine a little during fork seal replacement) 6) Seat cowl? (woot woot! may need paint but still) 7) HOSES. all of em 8) Exhaust cans (mine are scratche up from road rash) Please include your input on other parts that could be usable
