Have a 86 VF1000r that was a good friends bike that he bought new off the showroom floor where he offered this to me due in part to a medical issue that came up where he wouldn't be riding any more. That was last year, Now in my hands it needed the basic fluid change, tires, oh my, then the carbs gone through, haha not once, but twice. Now its running with a new Lithium battery pretty dam good. A trip around told me this beast is not light, Doh! yet was fun to hear it move along. Though, knowing me all to well, I may be tempted to bring it back to a level of today's bikes, Suspension wise like I need another bike project. Yet these left alone seem to pull a good price, so before I go and make it what I believe it should be and spend goods knows what, I'm throwing it out here at $7000. I'm sorta the second owner, Almost 61K used but not abused miles and in what I believe a 7.5 out of 10 condition. Whats ya think?
