Does anyone know what is the value of an oem 86 red, white, and blue upper cowl? It is new in the original honda box, part number 642a1-ml7-675za.

Dunno what the actual value of that cowl is but according to the current price list at my local Honda dealer that upper cowl has a retail list price of $634.77 :scared:

At that price I'm guessing it prolly must be made outta Unobtainium. :suspicious:

You know the saying that it is only worth what someone will pay for it. A few years back there was a brand new one listed on eBay for $400. I wanted it, but was not willing to pay that much. After watching it being relisted time after time, I finally bought it for $200.

Also, I just sold an upper cowl for an '86 a few months back. It was in excellent condition and it only fetched about $100.

I'd pay $175 for it. But I'd rather pay $100 for a nice used one.
