    Oh... and also the link on one says it fits the "stock" sprocket... and I have two but they are both 45. was that "stock"?

    Cheap chains don't last. Doing the job right requires new sprocket and a QUALITY chain, and usually can't be done for less than about $175 unless you can find a real deal.

    A good chain should be fine for 20-25k miles with a bit of maintenance, so it's a long-term investment in the bike. If you've been nursing along your knackered chain, you'll notice the bike seems much smoother with the new parts.
